Photographic Websites Frequent Asked Questions

This section is continuously updated with your most interesting questions.

Independence:

You are concerned by any "strings" that may be attached to this deal.

So are we, so we get to great lengths to offer you the highest degree of independence possible:- when the project is finalized, you will receive the whole site as a zip file.

This will allow you to both have a back-up copy and to be able to move it with any other provider in a matter of hours if the need arise.

We are sure that this will not be the case, but we prefer to be on the safe side.

We will also archive the final version of your site for additional back-up and peace of mind purposes.

If we will register a domain name for you, it will be registered in your name and at a different provider that the one which hosts the site, to allow both you and us to switch hosting providers very quickly and without any hassles.

This is more costly, but if the hosting provider will fail our expectations we can move the hosting without any delay. In fact we favor the registrars which do not offer hosting at all.

We also encourage you to register your domain name yourself if you are comfortable doing so.

Hosting:

Our hosting is under constant monitoring and if a real problem arise we will change it to a different provider at our own expense.

In the unlikely event you encounter any problem, please let us know.

Our current hosting provider claims 99,998 uptime, multiple T1 Internet access, back-up and all the bells and whistles usually associated with a top hosting company.

Spam:

Your E-mail address will be encoded in the Contact page of your site to avoid the robots which "harvest" addresses from websites.

The address will not be protected from humans so you may still receive some unwanted messages.

Also, the contact E-mail address from the Whois database is usually exposed to harvesters.

On the other side, if you are reported to send any unsolicited E-mail messages from any address configured under the hosting provided by us we may have to terminate your account at once.

We usually do not worry about this because you, as professionals, already know that the Spam is the best way to get a bad name and scare all your potential clients.
